MUNG BEAN AND COCONUT CURRY

We bring you this recipe where the exemplary taste of Pride of India’s Green Mung Beans along with the flavours and goodness of coconut makes it a delicious and hearty curry meal.

WHAT YOU NEED 

HOW TO MAKE 

  • Heat the oil. 

  • Add the cumin seeds and cook. 

  • Add the garlic and sauté. 

  • Add the crushed tomatoes and then add ginger, coriander, turmeric, salt, and black pepper. 

  • Sauté for 5 mins. 

  • Add the water and rinsed green mung beans and simmer for 30 mins. 

  • When the mung beans are cooked, stir in the coconut milk. 

  • When curry boils, turn off the heat. 

  • Stir in cilantro and lime juice. 

  • Serve hot.
